Fibrox has an exceptional group of dedicated, long-serving individuals who make sure that our customers receive the knowledgeable, individualized service they deserve and that our products are always the highest quality possible. Fibrox started as a family-run organization, and while it has experienced product line expansions, new manufacturing facility additions and personnel growth throughout the years, one thing remains the same – our team is family.
EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP
CEO & Chairman of the Board
C. Geoffrey Hampson – In his 35-plus year career as an entrepreneur and investor, Geoff Hampson has been involved in a variety of different businesses throughout the world, including construction, technology, mining and marketing businesses in a number of situations from startups to turn-arounds to industry consolidations. His success in attracting and retaining strong management teams has enabled him to transform businesses into sector leaders. Geoff started Fibrox Technology Ltd, in Thetford Mines, Quebec in 1995.
President
Christopher Hampson – Chris Hampson joined the Fibrox Team in 2012 after having graduated from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. He came on board at a critical moment in Fibrox’s growth stemming from the completion of the Millwood facility. His interest in domestic and international travel makes him the ideal partner to our customers, who benefit from many face-to-face meetings and the type of support not found in other corporations. Additionally, the multi-talented Chris offers technical support, creative solutions and attention to detail in all aspects of account management.
Chief Financial Officer
James P. Taylor – James brings a wealth of experience in financial and general management in several industries from startups and growing businesses to established organizations. Most recently, James served as CFO for Cyber Development Group International, LLC, an early stage business in the Internet Infrastructure space. His career achievements include being responsible for the IPO of PEER 1 Network Enterprises Inc., where he managed several equity and debt financings as well as a major recapitalization. The company’s revenue grew from approximately $1 million to over $70 million during his tenure with the company. James graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting and earned his Master’s Degree in Business Administration in International Business and Corporate Finance from DePaul University.
Customer Service Manager
Catalina Sossa – Catalina came to Fibrox from Motic Instruments, Inc., where she was in charge of customer service for the US, Canada and Latin American dealer channels.
Her prior work experience includes creating a customer service department, managing call center operations, assisting on marketing campaigns, leading ISO certification processes, managing product exports, consulting on customer satisfaction projects and various administrative projects.
Catalina has a Master’s degree in Knowledge Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She is a high-energy performer and possesses excellent customer service skills. She is bilingual in Spanish and English. Catalina lives in Vancouver where she is an active volunteer in her community.
